My name is Sam
From the vibrant streets of the Philippines to the cozy kitchens of Tennessee, my journey has always been flavored with creativity, resilience, and heart.
I baked my first loaf at just eight years old, back in the Philippines. But it wasn’t until I moved to Tennessee at age 11 that baking took on a deeper meaning. In a new and unfamiliar world, recreating Pinoy treats brought me comfort—it was my way of keeping home close, one recipe at a time.
Years later, I followed my passion to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, where I refined my skills in French pastry. That’s when everything clicked—what if I could blend the warmth of Filipino flavors with the elegance of French technique?
Today, FiliChateau is that dream baked into reality. Every treat is handcrafted to tell a story, spark joy, and connect cultures in the sweetest way.
